Our mushrooms are grown on sterilized enriched media composed of carefully sourced ingredients of the highest quality.
Utilizing innovative cultivation techniques, our mushrooms are grown in clean indoor grow rooms that are optimized for the proper temperature, airflow, humidity, and CO₂ levels required by each individual mushroom species.
FJG Farm was founded by a wife and husband team: Kelly & Ryan. In 2019, we relocated to a farm in Brooksville, Florida that we are now proud to call home. This enabled us to start producing mushroom commerically. We have been growing high-quality mushrooms exclusively on our farm ever since.
Over 400 species of mushrooms have been identified to have medicinal properties. In addition to being an excellent source of protein, vitamin D and potassium; mushrooms are also rich in B vitamins such as niacin and riboflavin. Mushrooms are also an excellent sources of three essential antioxidants: glutathione, ergothioneine, and selenium.
FJG Farm is named after Ryan's father, Fred. Although Fred has moved on, his legacy remains alive. We miss you Dad.
You can find our mushrooms seasonally at the Brooksville Airport Farmer's Market. However, we love catering to our community year-round. If you are local to Brooksville, Florida please drop us a line. We would love to bring fresh mushrooms to your table!
